The Gurkha Settlement Office (GSO) located in the British Gurkha Kathmandu Camp (Man Bhawan) in Jawlakhel is there to help retired Gurkhas who wish to travel to the UK for settlement.  GSO can provide you with the following information:

·         What life is like in the UK

·         Cost of living in the UK

·         The Visa Application Process

On top of this, they can also provide you with a one to one visa application service, where one of the team members will help you, and your dependents to complete your visa application form (VAF 4A). This service is FREE.

The GSO is independent of the Visa Application Centre in Kathmandu and independent of the UK Borders Agency.  The GSO will not influence your decision to apply, now will they provide any assurance or comment on your likelihood of a successful application.  You must read the guidance published by the UK Borders Agency.

The Gurkha settlement Office will not make any charge for ILR & NI form filling services
There is NO membership charge for this service

Step 2 - You must have initial accomodation when you arrive in the UK

The charity will look to support you depending on
circumstances for up to six months

The charity is a social enterprise and as such such you
will be involved in various work related projects

 

     

Step 3 - You must have an open mind and be willing to intergrate
into the community

Your english must be at a basic level we can assist
you further when you arrive.

 

We will assist you with project and part time work to
enable you to produce a CV and obtain full time employment
